My Fair Lady
Book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe
MAY 16 - JUNE 2, 2013
A musical that needs no introduction! Once again, we are ending the season with a bang!
Based upon George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion and with book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe, My Fair Lady concerns Eliza Doolittle, a Cockney flower girl who takes speech lessons from professor Henry Higgins, a phoneticist, so that she may pass as a well born lady. With classic songs such as “I Could Have Danced all Night”, “Wouldn’t it be Loverly”, “Get me to the Church on Time” and “On the Street Where you Live”, you will certainly be whistling as you leave the theatre!
Don’t miss Studio Tenn’s production of one of the grandest and most beloved musicals of all time!
