A musical exploration that blurs the lines between musical theatre and concert experience, Studio Tenn's theatrical concert "The Cash Legacy: A Tribute to the Man in Black" pays homage to the music and songwriting of Johnny Cash that continues to live through each of us today. Following a musical format unlike any show of the past, this innovative production is comprised of a new, star-studded ensemble of singers and musicians. "Always Patsy Cline" star Mandy Barnett and Grammy Award winner Ashley Cleveland, along with many others, reimagine Cash's hits through updated arrangements that span music of all genres. The stylistic diversity of "The Cash Legacy" showcases the music's remarkable, and perhaps unexpected, relevance and versatility, making "The Cash Legacy" a reincarnation of a musical inheritance that is both reverent and rouge.
